The Chief Chemistry Lab Tech plans and conducts tests with wide latitude, mentors others on the chemical hygiene plan and laboratory safety standards, and defines appropriate test procedures and techniques were there is no precedent. In addition, proficiency in planning and carrying out complex and analytical processes pertaining to prototypes, products, special equipment and laboratory test procedures is required. Requirements for this job include 8 hours of college chemistry (preferred) and 10 years of related laboratory testing experience.
