**About the Unit**:
At this moment we are looking for a HES Lead.

**Responsibilities**:

- HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Yara’s safety culture. Design and ensure the implementation of programs that contribute to risk management under the Safe By Choice culture.
- Know and promote comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role.
- Evaluate and manage compliance with current legal requirements in occupational Health and Safety, chemical compliance and industrial higine.
- Evaluated, design and execute the hygiene program based in the risk assesment than bring information that permit improve work environmental
- Focus efforts on improving the occupational health process with emphasis on the risks of chemical aspects, follow-up on improvement projects aimed at implementing additional controls
- Lead the occupational health processes in Colombia and align the preventive and work medicine strategy according to the results of the process
- Identify OHS training needs for employees and contractors and manage those under the responsibility of the area. Develop and implement training material in collaboration with other Yara's site.
- Execute the HES evaluations of the suppliers of the OHS area in accordance with current regulations and Yara’s requirements, as well as support the HES evaluation of the suppliers of other processes.
- Support the management of incidents so that they are registered, reported and investigated according to the established in the internal procedures (HOPS, TOPS), ensuring the use of Synergi tool.
- Evaluate projects, changes in equipment and process with focus on Health and Safety, directives and best practices of Yara, as well as the national legal requirements.
- Ensure the development of Occupational Health program in line with the risk assesmente the health condition of all employees
- Manage the resources assigned in efficient way including the budget assign to OHS.

**Profile**:

- University degree, preferably chemical Engineer
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Internal and External Customer management skills is a plus.
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in implementation of occupational health systems with emphasis on epidemiological surveillance systems for chemical risks
- Knowledge chemical compliance.
- Experience with development and implementation of procedures, projects or processes across the full value chain is important.
