We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer for our client to keep them safe through monitoring and response to active threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. Continually improve our client's security stance by suggesting and assisting with implementation of improvements, ranging from small-scale changes to organization-wide initiatives that reduce the likelihood of a cybersecurity incident. Empower our client's associates to make good security decisions through regular awareness campaigns and targeted training.
- Act as a liaison between our client and the security vendors
- Lead our security and awareness training, including regular internal phishing campaigns
- Triage any alerts to determine the appropriate method and criticality of response
- Troubleshoot problems with security tools, and work with the vendor’s support to resolve them
- Handle potential Security Breaches and incidents, providing timely updates to Benco regarding security incidents
- Provide proposals for new security initiatives or enhancements
- Constantly monitor for current threats that may impact our client and the tools we use, and advise on how to avoid them
- Prepare, document, and update standard operating procedures and policies. System Configuration Standards. Acceptable Use Policies. Compliance and Regulatory Policies
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure security devices

**Requirements**:

- A thorough understanding of Cyber Security protocols and best practices.
- Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, CCPA, NIST, and GDPR
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining a SIEM, SOAR, and/or log management tool
- Scripting skills in PowerShell required, with additional languages and tools encouraged
- A thorough understanding of and hands-on experience with common Cybersecurity tools, including the Qualys Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and OpenVAS
- Experience using NetFlow and Packet Tracing tools such as WireShark and netcat
- A thorough understanding of common network protocols, topologies, and services, and how they interact with each other
- Administrative experience with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, through current
- Understanding of Azure Best practices and ability to analyze Azure network infrastructure and suggest an improvement

- A motivated, self-directed team player who can work under pressure and is passionate about IT Security. A passion for process improvement and upstream solutions is a huge benefit
- Excellent written and spoken English skills. This position will require that you communicate with customers and co-workers at all levels of the organization
- Excellent skills in presenting threat and remediation information to a non-technical audience in a way that resonates with them
- The ability to “Assume Positive Intent” in all situations and interactions
