ABOUT THE TEAM: RealPage is a leading global provider of software and data analytics for the real estate industry. The Asset & Investment Management team makes software for real estate companies to collect and report on their operational data, our team is responsible for the Quality Assurance.
WHAT YOUâLL DO: The QE Engineer II Understands and applies quality methods and practices to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality projects
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Design
- Understands customer requirements and workflows of medium to high complexity for functional and non-functional testing.
- Quickly and reasonably provides LOEs, schedule and resource needs for proposed objectives.
- Creates/updates traceability matrix to map the test requirements with test scenarios and identify automation opportunities.
- Tests nonfunctional requirement analyze results and recommend solutions.
Test Data Management
- Performs setup and admin of testing tools used by team.
- Identify / review data available and analyze feasibility
- Conduct data analysis
- Profile data for all the requirements and analyze quality of the data
- Generate large volumes of test data using automated test script under moderate supervision
Testing
- Build test automation framework with or without mínimal guidance.
- Writes and maintains automated tests using best practices, as well as perform manual testing.
- Collaborates with other teams, resolves integration issues and technical dependencies, and ensures deliverable meet requirements on time.
Remediation
- Executes automated tests and triages failure regularly.
- Actively communicates test status, issues, defects, and potential impacts.
- Assists in debugging and modification of software.
- Detects & documents defects along with identifying ways to prevent them in future.
Customer Journey Management
- Scope of assignments is multiple diverse projects, covering a broad range of technologies and a high level of complexity.

- Coaches and mentor others on engineering and/or quality methodologies and techniques
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Strong understanding of Agile development
- Must have built at least one test automation framework from scratch without any guidance.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in related QE field
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with object-oriented programming.
- Minimum 3 year of working experience with programming language (Java, c-sharp, php).
- Minimum 3 year of working experience with web services testing for REST and SOAP.
- Minimum 3 year of working experience with Selenium/Webdriver.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience with Mobile Testing on iOS and Android.
- Minimum 1 year of java script programming.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience with build automation tool like Maven, npm, etc. Server, and Azure DevOps (preferred), etc.
- Experience writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary reports.
