REDD+ allows us to partner with stakeholders from tropical forest countries to monetize their forest and biodiversity assets, whether they are communities, land ownership groups or governments. Wildlife Works manages a portfolio of current and prospective REDD+ projects throughout the tropics and is growing to meet market demand and interest in our innovative approach.

**Responsibilities**
- **Forestry/Biometrics**:Make frequent field visits in all types of forest, using handheld GPS equipment for navigation, lead teams in forest measurements (DBH, crown cover, tree height) for the purposes of forest carbon inventories. Assist the VP Carbon Development and WWC technical team to train local community members or stakeholders in GPS/mapping/navigation techniques. Knowledge and use of standard forestry equipment preferred.
- **Computer skills**:Strong ability in ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro will be required, including geoprocessing, raster processing and cartography techniques.Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required; Knowledge of Adobe products (Acrobat, Photoshop) a plus; Programming skills desired, including Python and or.NET for developing GIS add-ins, but not required. Basic knowledge of computer networking and large dataset storage and organization also desired.

**Requirements**:

- Five years of full-time work in the field of conservation or forestry desired and with a focus on tropical locations preferred.
- Excellence in GIS (ArcGIS Pro preferred) analysis; including cartography, raster and vector data organization and geoprocessing. Advanced spreadsheet management, Python programming and model builder experience is a plus.
- Forest measurement or inventory experience a plus. Strong computer proficiency required.
- Strong communication skills, organized, thorough and detail oriented.
- Written and spoken fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Experience working in an international, diverse and rapidly growing team, with ability to work under tight deadlines and accept a dynamic work environment.
