This position as part of the packaging organization drives packaging excellence, executing packaging engineer developments, leading sustainable sustainability packages and driving growth through innovation and cost optimization.

**Let's talk about the responsibilities**:
This position is cross-functional in nature, with high interaction and teamwork with several areas of the company such as Marketing, Product development, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics, at the same time partnership with outside packaging vendors and sustainability organizations.
- Develop people centric packaging: Design primary and secondary packaging materials for all business needs considering consumer, clients and manufacturing/logistics requirements.
- Develop innovatie projects incluiding sustainability packaging. Manage the conceptualization, initiation, and development of new and innovative packaging. The primary focus is on Packaging-based product concepts that will drive incremental growth to Colgate-Palmolive’s current portfolio.
- Ensure flawless execution of packaging engineering projects.
- Identify and/or participate in standardization and simplification programs. Identify, evaluate and implement innovative and experimental projects that contribute to cost improvement, manufacturing efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Identify, assess and validate new packaging suppliers, following company protocols and comply with corporate quality standards.
- Partner with Marketing and Consumer Insights to identify opportunities to explore new Packaging concepts.
- Organize and manage cross-functional teams as necessary to co-develop concepts, manufacturing systems and partnerships internally and externally to optimize ideas for launch readiness.Champion new possibilities and new ways of doing things.
- Independently and proactively manage timelines to insure fastest possible project timing.

**What do you need for this position?**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science, Mechanical/Polymer/Printing or Plastic Processing or any other Engineering related.
- At least 3 years of packaging mater related experience
- Intermediate
- Advance English Level
- SAP (desirable)
- Knowledge of project and production plant management (desirable)
- Knowledge of packaging materials (desirable)
