**What**

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance associate to assist with day-to-day financial procedures. The Associate will be managing accounting records, revising and updating financial reports, and preparing financial data for audits, reviews, and taxation.

To ensure success as a finance associate, you should possess in-depth knowledge of best practices in financial management and experience in a similar environment. An outstanding FP&A’s associate will be someone whose expertise results in accurate financial reporting and efficient account management.

Further, it is the FP&A function to help transform the overarching company strategy, into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets. With the use of financial modeling, it forecasts operating and profitability performance and sets annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). By providing an annual budget, it also uses that data to advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment.

The Associate will also be pulled in to work on special projects sucha as M&A, Process optimization, Market Research, and Capital Allocation.

**Be an owner**

Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.

Processing requisition and other business forms, checking account balances, and approving purchases.

Administer, review and process payroll in partnership with the accountant.

Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures.

Managing account records, issuing invoices, and handling payments.

**Be a solver**
- Collaborate with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
- Update financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.
- Manage and administer petty cash, as well as all office supplies.
- Review existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Keep records and documenting financial processes.
- Administer contracts and documentation related to all employees, clients, and suppliers
- Maintain correct inventory of all the companies assets

**Write it down**
- Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
- Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
- Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast
- Ad-hoc business performance reporting
- Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments
- Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports
- Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives
- Support management team and the Circle Leads with data-driven analysis

**Required skills**
- 3-4 years experience in accounting, finance, treasury, FP&A.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- A prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or tech company is a must
- Strong grasp of business and financial statements :P&L ownership, Cash-flow and Balance Sheet strong understanding
- Outstanding analytical skills, agile and hands-on, high attention to detail, committed to making an impact
- High level command of Excel and knowledge of Financial ERPs & other tools
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Great analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Superb organizational and time-management skills
