We are looking for a contractor to help us with our NetSuite bookkeeping, process documentation and consulting on best practices.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Analyze the health of Netsuite
- Help with reconciliations and document best practices on how to do reconciliations
- ARs and Client Payments
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare financial statements
- Process expense reports for payment
- Record vendor payments
- Monthly closing processes
- Ad hoc requests

**Skills we're seeking**:

- Experience with NetSuite Accounting
- 1-5 years of experience as an accountant
- Ideally worked at a recurring revenue or services company
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
- Technical skill of accounting process in multiple functional areas and possession of strong US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify issues and discuss with supervisor for timely resolution
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Able to look for ways to improve the accounting process and can communicate to the Head of Operations in a thoughtful manner
- Proficiency on PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Public accounting experience or CPA degree preferred
