We Are Hiring

The Sr Backend Engineer focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing the

server-side components of our platform. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s

responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Sr Backend Engineer, you are comfortable with databases, server-side scripting

seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.

**Requirements**:

- Work with data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas

for improvement.
- Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish

objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user

experience.
- Create maintainable, testable and reusable code
- Develop features with security best-practices in mind.
- Audit existing codebase to improve performance
- Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage

Our Tech Stack

React, Node, PHP, Kotlin, MySQL, AWS, Kubernetes, macOS

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with increasing responsibility
- Professional experience writing enterprise code
- Desire to learn and solve problems no matter the technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages in our tech stack
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
- Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing
