**About the Role**

This is a remote full-time consulting position (contract) for a professional who gathers, interprets, and analyzes large sets of data to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making within an organization.

**Required Skills**:

- Expert level skills on Tableau
- Expert level skill in integrating data using Tableau
- Knowledge of Tableau Analytics and Tableau Platform and how it works
- Understanding best practices of formatting, source data to be consumed by Tableau
- Expert level skill in Dashboard UI design & Data modeling
- Ability to recommend best visualizations based on the data being displayed
- Expert level skills in time series analysis
- Interface with Project Directors to understand data needs and help build visualizations using the internal data warehouse
- Proficiency in testing the SQL Scripts for report development, Tableau Dashboards and Scorecards
- Proficient with SQL and database technologies including: DBT
- Proficient in AWS including: Redshift and S3, as bare minimum
- Experienced in performance tuning and handling large amounts of data
- Experience developing complex workbooks/reports
- Experience deploying workbooks/reports
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Attention to Detail: Being meticulous and paying attention to details.

**Responsibilities**
- Data Collection: Gathering data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other relevant sources,
- Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Reviewing and organizing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness,
- Data Visualization: Creating visual representations of data through charts, graphs, infographics, maps and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Summarizing and presenting findings from data analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data by performing quality checks and validation procedures.
- Data Mining: Identifying patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets to extract meaningful information and support business objectives.
- Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as business analysts, data engineers, and decision-makers, to understand their requirements, provide analytical support, and contribute to data-driven initiatives,
- Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry trends, new analytical techniques, and tools to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve efficiency.
- Be an active member of our Agile team, participating in all ceremonies and continuous improvement activities
- Incorporate time series analysis techniques into Tableau visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of Tableau Desktop is required
- Strong expertise in time series analysis techniques.
- 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience and familiarity with Tableau Server is a plus
- Must have expertise in Advanced SQL, DBT and Statistics
- Professional communication skills are required
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- A self-driven problem solver
- Understanding of complex data structures, data analytics and statistics
- Good communication skills, can convey a message, make a point and most importantly listen
