We are lookoing for a Controlling Coordinator, in this position you will be the Point of contact with Centers of Excellence Support Controller with local “back office activities” and entity responsibility including balance sheet review, external local reporting with relevant delivery channels and external stakeholders. This position will support the Controller in managing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Financial processes at the local affiliate through the AbbVie Target Operating Model (TOM). The position will maintain accurate financial information and information technology systems through effective management and coordination of the TMO and its related outsourced or internal components including the Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) and Centers of Excellence (COEs).

**Responsibilities**
- Provide holistic service to the Affiliate / Function passing on requests and troubleshooting to the relevant department or link point. Support Controller in managing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Finance, Operations, via the AbbVie TOM or Shared Service Model Monitor BPO (Business Process Outsourcer) service KPIs (Key performance indicators) and manage and resolve performance issues. Manage and monitor internal services.
- Provide strategic decision partnering to functions. Establish and implement appropriate local policies and procedures as per corporate policies and provide local direction and guidance on policies to all functions. Support the Shared Service structure via continuous interaction and communication with the BPO, FSS, COEs, as applicable, to ensure proper controls are in place and that financials properly reflect the business operations.
- Investigate opportunities and risks and share with Controller. Supports Controller on all entity and local internal control responsibilities by creating and maintaining a control environment within the affiliate. Coordinate and monitor internal and external audits with support of FSS, BPO and COEs
- Supervision and review of local monthly and quarterly financial reporting and other analysis as requested by management, including all required reporting and reports as per Corporate Policies and Procedures. (This may include but shall not be limited to: Sales Flash reports and other as may be required by policy or management).
- Ensure adequate financial and system controls are established and maintained consistent with AbbVie Corporate Financial Manual (CFM) policies and procedures Ensure uniform and consistent recording. Maintain the integrity and control of general ledger accounts through review and analysis. Document internal control procedures and ensure compliance.
- Reporting/Control Ensure compliance with all Operations Finance deadlines. Ensure protection and proper use of company assets. Approve Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) expenditures per policy. Report operating results to the Management. Monitor completion of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Lead and coordinate successful completion of all Financial audits (SOX, External, Internal, PBM audits)
- Work closely with the external and internal audit teams to complete all audit cycles effectively and implementing any audit recommendations according to due dates if applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- 6+ years of qualifying experience in key finance and/or commercial roles
- Financial and client commercial experience.
- Regional experience or experience working with multiple countries
- Operational / commercial experience, must be able to add-value, support / enable / facilitate change
- Collaborative team player, relationship builder with a can-do attitude, lots of energy and drive (required)
