Role Description
- Lead the Data Science domain in the team
- Partner with a cross-functional team of MLOps engineers, data engineers, other data scientists and product managers to deliver products.
- Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation in production.
- High-English proficiency is required (technical and business language).

Must Have
- Proficient coding in Python (at least 5 years of professional programming).
- Experience with any code versioning tool (Git/ Github preferred)
- Proficient in SQL and ETLs.
- Strong understanding and work experience in data modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, forecast).
- Machine learning and statistics frameworks or libraries (Sklearn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Statsmodels, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.).
- Experience with data wrangling libraries (Pandas).
- Experience using cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Experience with recommender systems.
- Experience developing ETLs.
- Linux intermediate user level (commands, file system, package managers, etc).
- Experience with Big Data tools (pySpark, Dask, Databricks).
- Experience using Azure cloud platform.
- Experience in working in Agile.
- High-level understanding of MLOps processes like:

- CI/CD.
- Model deployment.
- Software architecture (pattern designs).
