**Overview**
**How You'll Make an Impact**
We are looking for a Lead, Backend Engineer to join our Engineering Team reporting to the Engineering Manager. As a Lead, Backend Engineer at Epsilon, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and scaling of software solutions that run in the cloud, processing several TBs of data per day.

**What You'll Achieve**
- Lead the design, development, testing, and support of back-end services in the context of big data solutions.
- Architect and develop high-performance APIs (generally REST) and highly available services.
- Develop scalable and independent services for processing large volumes of information (ETLs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.

**Who You Are**
- ** What you'll bring with you**:

- Expertise in at least one BackEnd language (preferably Go, Node.js).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and REST services.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies and agile development practices.
- Extensive experience with at least one cloud platform (preferably AWS).
- Proficiency in testing frameworks and observability tools.
- Demonstrable experience leading the development of scalable and quality backend components.
- Versatility to work with multiple programming languages and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Docker.
- Experience working in a Linux development environment.
