Accounting Specialist

As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our brand Medellin, Colombia.

**Job Summary**:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring accounts are up to date. They play a key role in maintaining financial stability by overseeing the timely collection of outstanding debts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record incoming payments and reconcile them with total accounts receivable.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans or settlements.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Address client inquiries and concerns regarding invoices and payments.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable to management.

**Experience & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields might be preferred.
- More than one (1) year of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
- Proficiency in payroll software Paylocity, strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage and reconcile accounts.
- Capacity to address payment discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal departments.

**Schedule**:
**Monday to Friday**: 8:00 Am to 5:00 Pm CST

**Working from office 100%**
