**Job Summary**
As a **_Senior Data Engineer (11083)_**, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Write code that is efficient, well-documented, and maintainable; mentor and support others on the team to do the same
- Ensure high data quality by leading the development and maintenance of data tests and alerting, so our team is aware of data issues before customers are impacted
- Own the development process on the Data & Analytics team and iteratively work to improve the efficiency and robustness of our data SDLC
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Graduates in systems, networks or related fields with +5 years of experience.
- You have experience with data warehousing, transformation tools & pipelines (we use dbt). This would be nice to have.
- You have excellent SQL skills and are able to write and optimize complex queries.
- You have a working knowledge of Python.
- You can communicate effectively about technical concepts at many levels of complexity, and you enjoy working with colleagues to translate business questions into technical requirements and solutions.
- You like building and testing scrappy data solutions, you can identify and execute on strategies to scale them into long-running maintainable systems, and you can thoughtfully prioritize between these approaches given business value and context.
- You understand principles of data warehouse design and organization (e.g. dimensional modeling).
- Understanding of the development, and life cycle process of ETL or ELT.
- Experience with acquiring data from different sources and storing them also experience with providing processed data.
