**The team**:
Genetec is a market leader and innovative technology company with a broad solutions portfolio that encompasses security, intelligence, and operations. We are expanding rapidly in the LATAM region and seeking a Marketing Intern with initiative and drive to join our marketing team to help expand our customer and market footprint by focusing on event management, marketing research, inventory management and data base management.

The key criteria for success in this position is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with a cross-functional team (including external agencies) to bring strategy to life, manage competing priorities, have good communication skills with both internal & external stakeholders, and exceptional project management skills.

**What your day will look like**:

- Coordinate the preparation and execution of key LATAM Regional Marketing activities and events in the ANDCON NORTH region (The Caribbean, Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guayana, and Suriname), such us end-customers and channel conferences, seminars, tradeshows, sponsorships, etc.
- Effectively cleaning leads from marketing activities and uploading them into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Make sure the database in the CRM is updated and clean
- Manage inventory of promotional items, including researching and ordering of new items and to coordinate the distribution of marketing materials between offices
- Do marketing research of our key regions and industries that support the commercial strategies

**About you**:

- You are in your last year or have a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant qualifications
- You are passionate about marketing and branding
- Strong marketing skills, specifically in events management and project management
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Spanish
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Excel at working with data and spreadsheets to provide reporting information and help inform business decisions
- You work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and can juggle several tasks at once
- Deadline driven and communicative with status updates and project timelines
- Comfortable working in a remote team environment

La clave para el éxito en esta posición es la capacidad de trabajar en un entorno rápido y dinámico, trabajar en colaboración con un equipo multifuncional (incluidas agencias externas) para darle vida a la estrategia, gestionar prioridades competitivas, tener buenas habilidades de comunicación con las partes interesadas internas y externas, y habilidades excepcionales de gestión de proyectos.

**Cómo será tu día de trabajo**:

- Coordinarás la ejecución de actividades y eventos de marketing en la región ANDCON NORTE (El Caribe, Centroamérica, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana y Suriname), tales como conferencias de clientes finales y de canal, seminarios, ferias, patrocinios, entre otros.
- Gestionarás el inventario de artículos promocionales, incluida la investigación y el pedido de nuevos artículos y coordinar la distribución de materiales de marketing entre las oficinas
- Limpiarás eficazmente los leads obtenidos de las actividades de marketing y los cargarás en el sistema de CRM
- Te asegurarás de que la base de datos en el CRM esté actualizada y limpia
- Ayudarás con la investigación de mercado de las principales regiones e industrias en las que la empresa quiere enfocarse, para apoyar en la definición y actualización de estrategias

**Sobre ti**:

- Estás a punto de graduarte o cuentas con un diploma de pregrado en Marketing, Comunicación, Negocios u otros títulos relevantes
- Te apasiona el marketing
- Tienes fuertes habilidades en gestión de eventos o gestión de proyectos
- Tienes un excelente español verbal y escrito
- Tienes un dominio profesional del inglés verbal y escrito
- Te encanta trabajar con datos y hojas de cálculo para proporcionar informes y ayudar en las decisiones comerciales
- Trabajas bien con otros en un entorno de trabajo rápido
- Estás orientada a los detalles y trabajas bien haciendo varias tareas a la vez
- Trabajas bien bajo presión y con fechas límite, actualizando al equipo sobre el progreso y cronogramas de proyectos
- Te sientes cómodo trabajando con equipos de trabajo remotos
