Maritime Research Analyst

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Regularly access the "Seasercher" website to identify sea casualties and salvage opportunities.
- Analyze reports, extract relevant information, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify shipping companies, vessel details, casualty types, and other pertinent data.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as the Salvage Operations and Legal departments, to coordinate efforts in assisting with sea casualty claims.
- Establish contact with shipping companies, insurance companies, and P&I clubs related to identified casualties and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing casualties, research findings, outreach activities, and potential business opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in the maritime industry will also be considered.
- Familiarity with maritime terms, vessel types, and shipping industry practices.
- Experience in maritime research, salvage operations, or working with shipping companies, insurance companies, or P&I clubs is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in using online platforms, databases, and research tools.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate casualty reports, extract relevant information, and identify potential salvage opportunities.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and documenting research findings.
