A Housekeeping Auxiliar is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public areas and rooms to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while managing customer issues and undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks
**What will I be doing?**
As a Housekeeping Auxiliar, you are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public areas and rooms to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Housekeeping Auxiliar will also be required to manage customer issues and undertake regular deep cleaning tasks. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure cleanliness of all public areas
- Carry out lost property procedures
- Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
- Manage master keys in his/her possession
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks, e. g monthly deep cleaning and carpet shampooing
- Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department
- Check public areas and toilets taking remedial action where necessary
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management
- Organize and execute the cleaning and cleaning activities in the Hotel rooms, according to the standard established by the brand, taking care of every detail in the performance of this work, so that the room is impeccable. Also, take into account if the client requires any change or additional elements (sheets, towels, etc.) in order to provide a better service and comfort.
- Update the status of the rooms through the telephone interface with the codes established for this purpose.
- Receive in the office of the Head of Housekeeping, at the beginning of their shift, the Work Plan and the corresponding master key, taking into account the priorities described by the Head of Housekeeping the pending activities of the previous shift, in order to have control of the time and daily functions.
- Inspect and examine the rooms when the guest checks out, in order to verify their condition (damages, stains or losses) or the presence of objects forgotten by the guest. Inform the Head Housekeeper so that she may carry out the respective procedures and/or corrective actions, as the case may be. When objects forgotten by guests are found, the Lost & Found form must be filled out.
- Perform permanent surveillance in the assigned post; make the pertinent observations to the guests and users about the use of the pool and good behavior during its use.
- Prevent minors from using the pool if they are not properly accompanied by responsible adults.
- Make recommendations regarding any detail or anomaly they observe in the pool, in the pool equipment or the general behavior of the users.
- Provide first aid services if necessary, since it has the necessary training and implements.
- Shall make daily reports where he/she shall record the daily news about his/her position, which shall be presented to the housekeeper who is his/her immediate boss and shall intervene and promote activities related to the pools and their area of influence.
