As an **Azure API Management Developer**, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using the Azure API Management platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable API solutions. Your role will involve implementing best practices for API design, security, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will play a key role in integrating APIs with various backend systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Design and develop APIs using Azure API Management platform.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
5. Implement best practices for API design, including RESTful principles, versioning, and documentation.
6. Ensure security standards are implemented across APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
7. Optimize API performance through caching, rate limiting, and other techniques.
9. Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
10. Implement logging and analytics to track API usage and performance metrics.
11. Work closely with DevOps teams to automate API deployment and management processes.
12. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in API management and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in designing and developing APIs using Azure API Management or similar platforms.
3. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
4. Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.

6. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
7. Knowledge of API security standards and practices.
8. Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Microsoft Azure certification in API Management or related field.
2. Experience with API gateway technologies other than Azure API Management, such as Apigee or AWS API Gateway.
3. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
5. Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
