Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for
**IT Goverance, Risk and Goverance Manager** for the America's. Day to day, you will act as the Regional central point of contact for the portfolio of technology for goverance, risk and compliance requirements.

**Highlight of the role and responsibilities**:

**Management**
- Manage and drive the continual roll-out of the GRC model across technology, ensuring consistent global policies, processes and controls are in place to ensure that risks are mitigated, and compliance is maintained.
- Engage and guide other team members by visibly role modelling the core values of Wood
- Report to senior Goverance, Risk and Compliance manager to ensure delivery of requirement and value optimisation

**Governance**
- Leverage the governance framework to enable accountability and responsibility in technology.
- Implement adequate and appropriate governance at the regional level to enable risk-based decision making and meet our stakeholder needs.
- Oversee the effectiveness of governance checklists and blueprint at the regional level and to embed the Information Security Management System framework. (ISMS)
- Deliver value creation and greater efficiency through the elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.
- Manage risk mitigation and project requirements to propose enablers to process, people and technology, where required re-engineering processes to increase efficiencies.
- Enforce the alignment of internal and external documentation in adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
- Conduct quality control activities within region, including periodically using maturity-assessments where applicable

**Risk**
- Manage a risk-based approach to identify and treat risk as it relates to technology, business strategy and objectives
- Report on information security risk profiles
- Contribute to the development the companies’ operational risk profile, providing insight and reporting current and likely future security risks
- Deliver risk management for WOOD’s Information Security risks
- Contribute to and maintain IT Group Risk Register
- Identifies, evaluates, and reports on information security risks, which supports the effective protection of information assets
- Deliver risk mitigation plans in response to changes in risk profile driven by internal and external events and through lessons learned
- Conduct scenario analysis and where relevant, identify further mitigation actions through facilitation of experts, stress-testing, and threat simulations
- Design and operate standard information gathering tools to ensure ongoing evaluation and validation of control effectiveness
- Support compliance of third-party security including assessment and audit of Wood subcontractors
- Engage with internal functions and external partners in order to support project bids and assure Wood compliance to legal, regulatory and compliance requirement
- Support Senior Manager in Group and Business Unit Incident and crisis response management

**Compliance**
- Ensure the management of third-party security including assessment and audit of Wood subcontractors
- Accountable for assurance through analysing the current state of IT and recommending opportunities for optimisation
- The delivery of appropriate training and awareness to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company assets
- Enforce regulatory policies, procedures and controls including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, reporting, and liaising with relevant authorities
- Deliver a GRC model that allow consistent risk management, reporting and assurance
- Lead investigation of services in response to criminal financial loss, counterfeiting, crimes against persons, sabotage, threats, emergencies, illegal acts, and property or environmental crimes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with non-technical staff over technical issues
