We are searching for a talented **Senior Java Developer** to join our **remote **team.
This role presents the chance to engage with state-of-the-art GenAI technologies and boost your understanding of vector search. The main tasks involve enhancing our cloud-based search engine, implementing sophisticated full-text semantic and vector search capabilities, and using AI methodologies to address business challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhancement of the cloud-based search engine through continuous relevancy tuning and improvements
- Implementation of sophisticated full-text semantic and vector search capabilities, primarily for RAG use cases
- Utilization of AI methodologies to address business issues
- Involvement in the development of high-end products
- Cooperation with various teams to enhance client offerings
- Contribution to the ongoing refinement of the search engine
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- A minimum of 3 years of development experience complemented by strong Java skills
- Proficiency in enterprise search platforms, full-text search technologies, and search engines
- Substantial experience with Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Solr
- English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with Generative AI
- Profound comprehension of algorithms and data structures
- Experience working with Apache Lucene Core and OpenSearch
