The main purpose of this role is to support the end-to-end trade investment management process, ensuring we have the right phasing between commercial negotiations, the execution of commercial investments, and their corresponding payments, in line with the pre-approved budgets.
The role is responsible for coding the commercial investment plan provided by Commercial and Financial teams in the Trade Investment Management tool available in market and then, auditing and posting support documentation for processing the payment of these commercial activities. This information will feed monthly P&L and M&E analysis, ensuring budget control and expense performance.
The trade investment controller acts as a partner to other functional areas to support commercial decisions, and works very closely with the trade investment analyst in providing high quality information as input for every new commercial cycle plan. Through the generation of reports, they will provide access to the company to make decisions based on facts and will identify possible deviations or risks to the working capital agenda.
The role is also responsible to extend capabilities through the whole Latin America markets while creating new services and standards to drive convergence with global services, as well as carrying out operational improvements based on their expertise and the standard methodologies from other regions.
About you:
Crucial- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Engineering of related field- Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in finance, commercial finance, commercial planning- Proficiency in Portuguese (oral and written)- Budget tracking and control management- Strong analytical skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Strong MS Office knowledge- Proven track record of customer focused approach and difficult team member influencing
