As a **Senior Data Engineer**, you will collaborate as a team member on various consulting engagements with CFOs, focusing primarily on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning within intricate data environments. Your responsibilities will include constructing detailed, assumptions-driven 3-statement financial operating and strategic models.

- Employment Type: Indefinite term type contract- Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.- Work setup: Hybrid, Colombia

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Prior experience developing complex financial models and analyses primarily in Excel
- Ability to assist clients with planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Proficiency in handling large datasets in a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
- Utilization of data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot, etc.)
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative and qualitative data. Ability to dive deep into data with a bottoms-up approach while also having an awareness of the bigger picture and the ability to produce a top-down approach simultaneously.
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators, translating and distilling data into actionable information to drive results.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, both internal and external.
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience using SQL & Power BI in the workplace, including one or more of the following: corporate FP&A, business intelligence, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, equity research, private equity, or venture capital.
- Tech Stacks: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (financial modeling), and Power BI is a must.

- Collaborate as a team member on various consulting engagements with CFOs, typically involving reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning in complex data environments.
- Construct detailed, assumptions-driven 3-statement financial operating and strategic models, utilizing automation techniques to maintain scalability and repeatability.
- Assist with planning and implementation of data engineering projects, leveraging data warehouses, data ETL tools, and scripting languages to construct complete data pipelines for KPI reporting and dashboards, which are the key drivers of forecasting models.
- Participate in and present at weekly update meetings with clients to demonstrate progress towards the pre-defined goals of the engagement.
