Data Architect

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead data teams, and guide and support decisions in terms of data strategies, architecture, modeling, and tools.
- Lead, design, and document the conceptual and logical data models, and assist the technical team in the development of the physical models required to support project deliverables.
- Plan and conduct Data projects.
- Discovers and elicits business and data requirements.
- Design and implement Data architectures on cloud or on-premises.
- Develop data pipelines for extracting, cleansing, transforming, and enhancing data.
- Collaborate with customers' architects and technical teams to develop the technology "roadmap" for implementing their data initiatives and to plan the transition from the current architectural framework to the target architecture of the future.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Wide experience leading teams and stakeholder management.
- Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional).
- Strong data analysis and SQL skills.
- Strong SQL scripting experience.
- Background and experience with cloud data technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
- Familiar with distributed computing environments.
- Experience implementing ELT processes and Data pipelines.
- Background and experience with data tools and technologies like:

- BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, and other Data warehouse tools
- Spark, Hadoop, Apache Beam, Dataproc, or similar.
- Real-time and Batch processing.
- Serverless processing.
- Proficiency in a programing language like Python, Scala or similar.
- Good leadership and communications skills.
- Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal.
- Open to working in an agile environment as part of a scrum team.
- The ability to take the initiative, drive the project and innovate.
- Having a proactive attitude towards solving problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good client-facing skills.
