About the role

This position will fulfill tax activities within the region for all 7 jurisdictions, providing analysis and support in accounting counts related to taxes as well as magnetic media and other needs in the area.

What you'll do

Prepare the information / documentation and review returns prepared by third-party advisor(s). (e.g. Withholding Agents/ Turnover Tax/ VAT/).

Assist with the management of Tax audits/enquiries before the tax authorities or external auditors to meet the deadlines.

Assist other areas with tax advice.

Assist on the reconciliations of the tax accounts.

Assist in driving continuous improvements in the Indirect Tax return compliance process, through improving systems data and creating streamlined processes.

What you'll need to succeed

Degree as a Public Accountant

Intermediate to Advance level in Microsoft Excel

Experience of 4-5 years as a tax consultant in big4 firms or companies.

Strong communicator and collaborator

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of FinTech or payment industry is a plus.

Knowledge of annual returns (income tax, CM05, transfer pricing)

Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once.

Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Intermediate/advance in English
