Purpose of the Job

Key Responsibilities
- Guide team with best practices for compliance, safety and health.
- Develop PDP (project Design pack), PDR cost (project cost estimation), technical proposal for bidding.
- Develop for construction documents SLO (site Lay Out), SLD (single line diagram) and technical documents for the project execution.
- Coordinate all specialists who work in the different disciplines of the project as well as consultant and third-party companies from an engineering point of view.
- Ensuring the validity of methods used by staff.
- Providing project technical accuracy, included transient, heat rate, electrical and mechanical studies.
- Lead research and development projects that produce new designs, products and processes.
- Align and control the management of all engineering documents, including coordination of revisions and releases; control the engineering databases on a regular basis, guiding the PDR team to maintain all up to date.
- Understand electrical fault studies, power flow modeling and electrical transient studies.
- Ensure that team are involved and aligned to comply with company goals.
- Technical proposal - If require, Project Engineer shall provide the correct technical solution with correct guarantee performance, power output, availability, heat rate and transient capability
- Work with sales team to develop new business focused on client prospection, best technical solution, and competitive due market competitors.
- Engineering for Construction - Develop reliable technical documentation to execution of project, cooperating with Project Manager to the job, supporting where required with definition of the documentation and tracking until completion of the project.
- Supporting operational team on running projects fitting solution to reduce plant downtime.
- Support conduction of project post-report and create recommendation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements (Lesson Learned).
- Develop manufactures of new equipment or material that can be produced locally, saving importation taxes.

Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s university degree or higher
- Preferably Electrical engineer
- Experience on design of generations project.
- Experience on bid tender of multimegawatts projects
- Strong familiarity with any relevant international standard like IEC, ANSI, NEMA.
- Ability to bring project to successful completion.
- Ability to motivate, lead and drive for results.
- Fluency in English & Spanish.
- Familiarity with electrical software like ETAP.
- Atuocad knowledge.
- Flexibility to travel internationally
