ApexCRO is seeking a highly skilled and technical Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expert to join our team. This role is dedicated to improving the customer journey and boosting conversions for our e-commerce clients. As a CRO expert, you will focus on analyzing data, identifying user behavior patterns, and implementing strategies to optimize website performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in conversion rates. Your primary objective will be to test, analyze, and execute CRO strategies that enhance the overall digital experience and drive tangible business results.
**Mission Statement**:
A highly proactive and technically proficient CRO expert with extensive experience in the e-commerce sector. In this role, you will be responsible for directly working on the optimization of our clients’ websites, ensuring high-quality results that translate to real business growth. As a core member of our team, you will take ownership of CRO initiatives from start to finish, bringing a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices and the ability to deliver top-tier results for our agency’s clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior through analytics tools, heatmaps, and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Design, implement, and manage A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques to validate hypotheses.
- Optimize landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, and overall website architecture to maximize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience and reduce friction points throughout the e-commerce funnel.
- Monitor and report on the performance of CRO initiatives, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with developers to ensure CRO implementations are executed effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CRO, e-commerce, and digital marketing trends and tools.
- Translate complex data and test results into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
**Position Specs**:
- Full-time commitment while overlapping with our office hours (10:00AM - 6:00PM Gulf Standard Time)
- Consistently maintain a record of 140 - 160 tracked hours per month.
- Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD
- Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement
Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first month
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in CRO, specifically within the e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and how they impact conversion.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, VWO, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to run A/B and multivariate tests from start to finish.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) and the challenges specific to optimizing their user experience.
- Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate the implementation of CRO strategies.
- Familiarity with heatmaps, session recordings, and user feedback tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Strong communication skills for effectively presenting test results and recommendations to clients.
- Proactive attitude with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively (remote work experience is a plus).
- Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, as well as be able to attend virtual video conferences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. You must be fluent in English, although English doesn't have to be your native language.
- Must be available to overlap with office hours (which are from (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM London Time).
- Must be able to work full-time consistently.
