**Responsibilities**:
- Allocate marketing budget among different territories, time periods and spend categories, incorporating input from global centers of expertise and regional stakeholders, summarizing recommendations and explaining proposed allocation criteria to secure sign off from senior management.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of actual and planned spend across all marketing functions (upper funnel, lower funnel, non-media, G&A), incorporating inputs from Brand Marketing and Partner Marketing teams.
- Create detailed subscriber and revenue models, coordinating inputs with Pricing, Media, Subscriber Acquisition, and Retention & Engagement teams, to generate detailed projections by territory, SKU, plan duration, promo flags and other custom dimensions.
- Liaise with Finance team to reconcile operating projections, annual budget scenarios and monthly corporate forecasts.
- Conduct ROI assessments and other custom impact analyses, leveraging resources from the Global Strategy, Data Science, Business Intelligence and Global Pricing teams.
- Conduct periodic reviews of planned allocations to review and adjust in response to updated analyses, changes in context, or new corporate guidance.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Drive innovation in marketing practices and techniques based on data-driven insights.
- Continuously evaluate and improve planning and analysis processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing analysis or strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on Marketing ROI assessment and proven ability to interpret complex data, deal with ambiguous and incomplete information, and translate conclusions it into actionable recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of media industry and/or direct-to-consumer operations, or consulting background with exposure to multiple industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven leadership with experience managing and developing a team.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and advanced visualization tools (Looker, Tableau).
