Finance & Operational Manager

This role is responsible for successfully delivering a comprehensive range of financial reports to the region and the regional finance lead, managing the day-to-day financial transaction accuracy, advising, and supporting them to meet financial targets and deliverables.
Responsible for the Operational process including RFP, Contracts and all administrative rolls for the Project timeline.
What is your day-to-day?
- Provide support to PDS leader and Partner with Finance to develop and manage annual budget
- Develop and document the monthly Finance and Accounting processes. Develop a schedule and list of activities that will be completed each month.
- Work with Finance to oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals
- Assist the PDS leader in researching and identifying budget corrections and work with Finance to implement changes.
- Manage the chart of accounts used in Jones Lang LaSalle JD Edwards system..
- Train team members in Finance systems, data analytics.
- Look for process simplification opportunities, benchmark trends and savings ideas.
- Invoicing principal, agent and gross contracts in North of Latam and Central America
- Ensure AR over 60 days are below 25% via monthly AR review
- Monitor achievement of Plan DCI and CI% as a minimum
- Review the total expense and to guarantee that is according to the Plan
- Prepare the revenue recognition according by the USGAAP Polities
- Look for savings opportunities for better forecast.
- Manager and update the cashflow revenue for review with the Director regional
- Actively promote PDS systems at all times and support the use and compliance with these systems across the business and on projects. These include Project Toolkit, Clarizen, PowerBI and any other apps and platforms that may be introduced into the business from time to time.
- Contribute to the creation, improvement, and maintenance of document templates, policies, and procedures where required. Work with the sector and product leads to support the use and ensure implementation of the required process tools across all projects.
- Oversee the use of Clarizen /Medalla on projects. Work with the sector and product leads to support the use and adoption by all staff and ensure data accuracy and compliance to necessary tasks on the platform across all projects.
- Support the drive to achieve resource efficiency and profitability for the business.
- Work with the cost management team on matters relating to project procurement and cost management. This includes processes and procedures for vendor management such as registration, framework agreements, contract administration, and others.
- Work with the sector and product leads to support the review process on contracts (head contract and sub-contract). Coordinate where necessary between the project teams and JLL’s in-house legal, risk, and governance team on related matters.
- Invoicing principal, agent, and gross contracts in North of Latam and Central Americas
- Manage third-party vendor selection and contracts as needed.
- Partner with Sourcing to develop and manage the tender process
- Point contact for the new vendors to participate in the projects or included them in the database.
**Required**
- Is a plus knowledge and experience in the field of construction and project management, design and construction, and general business management in a related field.
- Is a plus, experience in contract and commercial management with a deep understanding of costs, procurement, and contract matters related to projects.
- Excellent communication and people skills. Good organizational ability.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, Architect) and/or 4-6 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability with the collaborative management style
- Critical thinker with high emotional intelligence and strong conflict management ability
- Proven experience developing high performance teams (high employee engagement and effective delegator)
- P&L understanding
- Excellent project management ability (solution oriented, organized, resourceful)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
- High level of English.
- Microsoft Excel system experience
- Demonstrated financial competency at a detailed level of operation.
- Good interpersonal skills / interpersonal sensitivity.
