About the role

A technical NOC team is comprised of skilled IT & NOC engineers. They watch the IT environment and ensure that the uptime and connectivity of the IT systems are seamless 24/7.

What you¨ll do

The NOC Engineer is responsible for strict monitoring of multiple networks and systems

Must maintain uptime for all IT systems

These NOC Engineers consistently monitor network and payment errors, issues, alarms and all issues related with the payment platform

Their decisions must be made quickly, requiring an informed NOC engineer in order to maintain organizational efficiency and an ideal network.

Incident handler

NOC engineer’s general responsibilities include responding to alerts, supporting calls, and communicating with the technicians to ensure all incidents are resolved. Being a NOC technician means that they must maintain documentation for all queries and solutions related to technology. They are responsible for the maintenance and management of the customer’s infrastructure.

What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science.

Excellent understanding of technologies, operating systems, networking, anti-virus, back-ups, systems and firewalls.

Knowledge regarding at least one of the following vendor products: Fortinet, VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux.

Experience using NewRelic SaaS or similar monitoring tools (nice to have).

Experience using Opsgenie or Pagerduty or similar SaaS Operations Management Platform (nice to have).

Supervising common threats, DOS attacks and viruses.

Strong multi-tasking skills.

Available to work after hours (night shift) and weekends or holidays (as required).

Engaging in on-call rotation shifts 24/7 whenever necessary

English level B1
