- BackgroundIn January 2023, iMMAP began to negotiate, together with partners REACH and ACAPS, the construction of a new consortium -. Evidence-based Decision-making (EVIDEM). This consortium seeks to bring together the three organizations to provide information management, assessment, and analysis services for the wider humanitarian community as a common service. Currently, USAID, BHA, and ECHO will fund this consortium, with iMMAP as the lead organization.

This Project's primary goal is to improve overall coordination among humanitarian actors through analysis, assessment, and synergetic Information Management services.

Through this project, information will be shared among actors to improve decision-making and response capacity.

EVIDEM organizations will pool their experiences, knowledge, and lessons learned to achieve the objective.

Utilizing its expertise and knowledge gained from its long-standing support for humanitarian coordination mechanisms and IM capacity-building activities, iMMAP aims to strengthen and empower humanitarian partners to leverage and optimize IM tools, technologies, platforms, and best practices in their response to a humanitarian crisis. To help achieve this, iMMAP will conduct two core activities: 1. Provision of needs-based IM products and services to OCHA and the HCT (Humanitarian Country Team) in Colombia, particularly to align the JIAF (Joint and Intersectoral Analysis Framework) 2.0 methodology, to contribute to an evidence-based HPC. 2. Empower and strengthen IM capabilities at the community level, including indigenous authorities.

EVIDEM consortium will provide a collective response from leading IM and analysis actors addressing identified gaps in assessment, analysis, and Information Management.
- Service DescriptionThe Project Manager will support all goals and strategies of the iMMAP programme in its work with national and international partners and applicable donor agencies. The Project Manager will develop and maintain strong contacts with donors, UN Agencies, and all Humanitarian partners.
- Project Management Activities- Oversee the overall implementation of the program ensuring objectives are met within the required time frame and budget. Where necessary ensure preventative and corrective action is taken. iMMAP as prime under USAID BHA and lead partner under ECHO has specific responsibilities for the overall execution of this project which must be ensured.
- Develop an implementation strategy that is appropriate to the country’s context and strategy, in coordination with REACH and ACAPS.
- Plan the mobilization of resources for the implementation of program activities, holding periodic meetings with USAID BHA and ECHO as required, as well as organizing consultative spaces with the HCT and others as required by the consortium.
- Manage a comprehensive activity plan, including resource needs analysis, covering the time frame. Receive updates on REACH and ACAPS activity plans.
- Proactively inform iMMAP Country Director of identified opportunities, risks, and risk mitigation relevant to the program planning and implementation.
- Maintain an overview of the national and regional context with a view to the strategic development of the project both in the currently identified sites and the potential of future program extension and expansion.
- Support program implementation as needed, including developing assessments, baselines, budgets, monitoring and evaluation systems, field visits to verify data, reporting, and close-out.
- Build relationships on behalf of EVIDEM with bilateral donors, international non-governmental organizations, implementation partners, and other agencies relevant to the implementation of the program.
- Requirements**Experience in project management**: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and a background in non-profit, internationally focused organizations. At least 5 years of working experience in similar management functions. This involves having experience in managing projects, preferably in the humanitarian sector. Solid understanding of project management principles, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
