**Project Summary**:
Colombia Transforma is a program of USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI). It is a flexible program that works with local and regional actors to identify opportunities to enhance contextual actions and contributions to communities. With the help of partners and allies, rapid response and short-term activities are formulated. The Program makes an in-kind investment for materials, equipment, technical support, among others. Through this investment, it seeks to leverage the own resources of the communities, entities and organizations that lead actions of transformation and peace building in their territories.

**Position Summary**:
The IT Consultant will provide IT support to the Colombia Transforma project staff, in specific cases where Tetra Tech's Headquarters (HQ) IT team is unable to provide support. This support will be necessary when physical presence is required and when the timely provision of remote support favors a local provider. This position will take place between November 2023 and November 2024, with an average time commitment between 15 to 20 hours per month for a total of 182 hours_._

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Senior IT Specialist, Administrative Management, Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP), Chief of Party (COP), the Project Management Team (PMT) and the HQ IT team.
- Configure all the equipment financed by the project in accordance with the IT standards of the HQ house.
- Prepare the project computers with the Windows Configuration Designer (WCD) package, joining them to Azure AD for remote management under the direction of the Senior Technology Specialist and the HQ IT team.
- Install and configure the computers purchased from the project based on the Tetra Tech user account provided by HQ IT.
- Configure the individual Outlook O365 client per user account.
- Install software updates/patches, service packs, and other updates (Dell Command Update & Windows Updates).
- Address printer and peripheral setup and maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot IT and network issues on demand and escalate to HQ IT team when necessary.
- Support Senior IT Specialist and HQ IT team in configuring all project funded and internet enabled network devices in accordance with Tetra Tech standards and policies, which will be initiated upon delivery of specified devices to the project office.
- Connect network devices to public IP.
- Coordinate with HQ to view wireless coverage within the office space and relocate access points to strategic positions.
- Collect data on IT installation, in which the template will be provided by HQ IT team.
- Record printer/copier/scanner data and make, model, and name IP addresses.
- Registration mark and models of all network and peripheral equipment.
- Photo log of all IT equipment.

A través de esta inversión se busca apalancar los recursos propios de las comunidades, entidades y organizaciones que lideran acciones de transformación y construcción de paz en sus territorios.

**Resumen de Posición**:
El objetivo de este cargo es proporcionar apoyo informático al personal del proyecto Colombia TRANSFORMA, en casos específicos en los que el equipo IT de casa matriz (HO) de Tetra Tech no pueda proporcionar apoyo. Este apoyo será necesario cuando se requiera la presencia física y cuando la prestación oportuna de apoyo a distancia favorezca a un proveedor local. Esta tarea se completará entre noviembre 2023 y noviembre 2024, con una ejecución promedio entre 15 a 20 horas mensuales para un total de 182 horas.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Trabajar en estrecha colaboración del Especialista Senior de IT, Gerencia Administrativa, DCOP, COP, el equipo de gestión del proyecto (PMT) y el equipo IT de la HO.
- Configurar todos los equipos financiados por el proyecto de conformidad con los estándares de IT de la casa HO.
- Bajo la dirección del Especialista Senior de Tecnología y el equipo de IT de HO, preparar los computadores del proyecto con el paquete Windows Configuration Designer (WCD), uniendolos a Azure AD para la gestión remota.
- Instalar y configurar las computadoras adquiridas del proyecto en base a la cuenta de usuario de Tetra Tech proporcionada por HO IT.
- Configurar el cliente Outlook O365 individual por cuenta de usuario.
- Configurar la aplicación Egnyte Desktop por usuario, asegurar que W:/drive está mapeado.
