Endpoint Security Specialist

Specialist in the client and security environment for the operation and further development of current security standards on end devices with solid experience in the area of information security, as well as endpoint security, especially in virus protection in global enterprise environments.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensuring operation and support of the global endpoint security infrastructure
- Responsible for endpoint security solutions in company data centres and in the cloud.
- Assuming a leading role in the further development of endpoint security solutions.
- Responsible for the security of end devices.
- Responsible for changes and lifecycle projects, responsibility for conception, architecture and implementation.
- Development of operational, monitoring and test concepts for endpoint security.
- Monitoring, investigation, coordination and reaction to endpoint security incidents.
- Management reporting.
- Support for internal and external audits.
- Further development of endpoint security standards, rules, processes and implementations.
- Execution of regular security and penetration tests.
- Participation in rotating on-call duties.

**Professional competencies**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2).
- Experience in the operation and further development of endpoint security solutions as well as a completed education as IT system technician.
- Practical knowledge in the areas of IT and cyber security.
- Interest in further development in the field of security and in-depth technical understanding in the areas of clients, servers and networks.
- Networked, analytical and forward-looking way of thinking and a reliable and communicative personality and willingness to take on responsibility.
- English language skills are very good.
- Experience in WSUS roles, McAfee software (EPO) and Microsoft Powershell is essential.
- Good knowledge of client operating systems (e.g. Windows, macOS, iOS)
- Microsoft Defender, Antivirus and Anti Malware.
