**About the Unit**:
At this moment we are looking for a HES Lead.

**Responsibilities**:
The HES Lead (Occupational heatlh) has the key responsibility of ensuring integral objectives and relevant HESQ projects are achieved, this according to Yara guidelines.

The position will report directly to HES Manager Colombia, must work transversally with all Latin American countries and localy with Yotoco site, Commercial, logistic and administrative Yara Process.

This position will be responsible for:

- HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Yara’s safety culture. Design and ensure the implementation of programs that contribute to risk management under the Safe By Choice culture.
- Know and promote comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role.
- Evaluate and manage compliance with current legal requirements in occupational Health and Safety, chemical compliance and industrial higine.
- Evaluated, design and execute the hygiene program based in the risk assesment than bring information that permit improve work environmental
- Lead the occupational health processes in Colombia and align the preventive and work medicine strategy according to the results of the process
- Carry out job evaluations with a focus on manual handling of loads, prolonged postures and repetitive movement. Follow up on the implementation of the proposed improvements as well.
- Monitoring and control of people with medical recommendations and work reinstatement plans.
- Lead the follow-up of medical cases. At the same time, strengthen the medical support network with the EPS and ARL. both for own staff and contractor.
- Evaluate projects, changes in equipment and process with focus on Health and Safety, directives and best practices of Yara, as well as the national legal requirements.
- Ensure the development of Occupational Health program in line with the risk assesmente the health condition of all employees
- Manage the resources assigned in efficient way including the budget assign by area.

**Profile**:

- University degree, preferably chemical Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years experience in implementation of occupational health systems with emphasis on epidemiological surveillance systems for chemical risks
- Internal and External Customer management skills is a plus.
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge chemical compliance.
- Experience with development and implementation of procedures, projects or processes across the full value chain is important.
- Advanced English
