Accounting Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Correspond with vendors/employees and respond to all Accounts Payable inquiries.
- Open new vendors account and obtain the required documentation.
- Process check request and invoices.
- Audit processed checks and bills to ensure correct information entered and all appropriate documentation received and approved.
- Investigate and solve vendor inquiries/disputes.
- Update Cash Flow for Accounts Payable Manager to review.
- Prepare weekly reports for Accounts Payable Manager to review.
- Print and mail out checks.
- Prepare daily deposits for remote scanning & bank deposits
- Prepare semi-monthly overseas payroll batch.
- Soft reconciliation of all credit card accounts weekly.
- File, organize and maintain files in the office.
- Enter re-class/correction/void entries.
- Assist with 1099 process/year end/accounting projects.

**Education, Experience Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
- 1-2 Years Accounts payable or general accounting experience

**Required Accounts Payable Skills/Abilities**:

- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google drive
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
