We are seeking a **Mid to Mid+ Software/Application Engineer** with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
**Position Title**:Mid to Mid+ Software/Application Engineer

**Location**:Hybrid - Medellin/Bogota

**What you will be doing**:- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform analysis, and translate those into effective technical solutions.Coordinate with IT admins, database administrators, and other team members to support lifecycle activities like server upgrades and database migrations.- Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms and domains.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

To excel in this role, you should possess:- Proficient in.NET Framework and C# for backend support and development.- Strong knowledge of SQL and Procedural SQL; ability to handle complex queries and database operations.-
- Prior experience working in a support role that includes both technical troubleshooting and direct user interaction.- Ability to work independently, taking initiative to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.-
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and REST APIs is a plus.- Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.- Demonstrated experience in independent problem-solving and decision-making.- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently and taking full ownership of tasks.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
