Freight Forwarding Controller

- ** Your Role **:To provide the framework for an integrated approach for Sea Logistics and Customs Business with the main focus on FSL Control, profitability and productivity review and process KPI’s control. Interact closely with the Business Unit. Play an integral role in the Business operational and management Team. Provide the management with sufficient and reliable monthly financial information and suggest corrective actions in case of deviations.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Identify profitability improvement possibilities and suggest and present improvement plans.
- Ensure the correct allocation of the GP per client.
- Analyze customer profitability per country on a monthly basis and alert superiors on underperformers and work with management on corrective actions.
- Analyze any problems within FSL (GP aging, Accrual Accuracy, Deferral) and take actions where needed.
- Accrue client rebates on account 2512
- Identify productivity improvement possibilities and suggest and present improvement plans.
- Lead such productivity improvement programs together with the business unit and the branches, and measure and follow-up on the results.
- Ensure documentation of the FCL ICS control in form and time
- Highlight major business risks to management.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Very important to have experience in the segment
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access)
- Knowledge financial
- Ability to relay financial information to non-financial personnel
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment and to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the business
