**About the Unit**:
We are selecting a Logistics & Operations Manager for the Andean Region, responsible for the Supply Chain strategy implementation, leading the end to end process, ensuring operational excellence. The position holder must have high level of collaboration, working across segments as one Yara within Sales & Marketing and Production. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performance team in a high potential growth region, the position is part of the Andean Region management team and a great opportunity to analyze and make high impact decisions on the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team responsible for foreign trade, port & site operations, material handling, order fulfillment and distribution to customers in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru & Bolivia.
- Know and comply with the Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and Know and comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role
- Manage the end-to-end logistic operations and product distribution within Andean Region, from port/inbound operations, warehousing, blending/bagging, dispatch and transport.
- Support the business profitability from operations, focused on HESQ and Operational Excellence to ensure productivity, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop the long-term vision, strategic and tactical plan for Logistics & Operations department among Andean Region markets.
- Optimize resources and assets to achieve the best possible cost per ton, maximize profitability and best use of capital, while meeting sales strategy and commercial requirements.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the frame of Yara Productivity Systems and Yara Operations Standards.
- Implement optimal supply chain structure, selecting A players, highly competent, to achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage and motivate the team, including career development plans for direct reports.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments to pursue strategic and operational objectives, as well as, to improve processes and customer experience.
- Keep constant communication with management, staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and business plan compliance, meeting market demand in a timely and efficient manner.
- Determine the investment and capital expenditure needs to achieve strategic goals, following Yara’s Capital Value Process
- Work closely with Planning, Sourcing & Procurement area to ensure a smooth and effective operation along the supply chain process.
- Management and control of agreements with contractors and partners involved in site operations.
- Champion of safety, as well as ethics and compliance aligned to Yara standards and polices.
- Monitor service level agreements between supply chain and commercial. Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Continuously measurement of compliance and operational KPIs to identify gaps. Develop and monitor action plans to close gaps and implement structural operational improvements,, driven by Yara continuous improvement culture.
- Deploy functional direction and guidance at site execution level.
- Follow-up the accomplishment of the Service Level Agreements with Commercial area.
- Provide guidance and best practices to ensure Yara HESQ standards including product stewardship are duly reached at all Sites and warehouses.
- Ensure that Yara Golden Rules and Safety Management Principles for sites are fully understood, communicated and adhered to.

**Profile**:
**Education**
Bachelor/Master degree in engineering, administration or similar, preferably with Postgraduate Course in Operations & Logistics.

**Work Experience**
Minimum 10 years of relevant supply chain experience.
5 years in leading teams and Supply Chain processes.

**Knowledge and skills**
