El propósito del puesto de asistente técnico de Medios de Vida y Seguridad Alimentaria es brindar soporte técnico en Medios de Vida y Seguridad Alimentaria en Santa Marta/Nororiente.

De manera más específica, el propósito del cargo de Asistente Técnico en Medios de Vida y Seguridad Alimentaria es apoyar las labores de Gestión del Ciclo del Proyecto (PCM), con especial énfasis en la implementación y evaluación de los proyectos que tienen como propósito que las personas afectadas tengan acceso a soluciones adecuadas de provisión, promoción y protección de medios de vida y seguridad alimentaria para mejorar su acceso a necesidades básicas en condiciones de seguridad, protección, salud y dignidad, evitando acciones con daño, facilitando un acceso integral e inclusivo a las ayudas humanitarias de la mano de los mecanismos de rendición de cuentas y la promoción de la participación activa de la población afectada.

**ROL Y RESPONSABILIDADES**

Responsabilidades generales:

- Asegurar el cumplimiento de las políticas, herramientas, manuales y directrices del NRC.
- Apoyar con la implementación del portafolio del proyecto delegadas según el plan de acción.
- Implementar procedimientos y actividades indistintamente dentro de la propia función o competencia básica según sea delegado.
- Responsable de la organización y ejecución de las tareas de acuerdo con las prioridades y estándares.
- Desarrollar y mantener el conocimiento del área de especialización de trabajo en la que se presta asistencia técnica y apoyo, con el fin de ser más efectivo en el apoyo al equipo.
- Iniciativa en la resolución de problemas cotidianos de acuerdo con los procedimientos acordados, prioridades y estándares para el área de trabajo.
- Preparar y desarrollar reportes de estados requeridos por la gerencia.
- Asegurar el archivo adecuado de los documentos.
- Promover y compartir ideas de mejoramiento de la Asistencia Técnica.

Responsabilidades específicas:

- Garantizar la ejecución de las actividades a su cargo y en su zona de intervención según los parámetros de calidad y los lineamientos técnicos establecidos por la competencia básica.
- Apoyar y proporcionar orientación técnica y herramientas a los asistentes para llevar a cabo la ejecución de todas las actividades sobre el terreno según lo establecido en el plan de acción, llevar a cabo las actividades propias del ciclo del proyecto, entre ellas, apoyo a las focalizaciones de beneficiarios, organizar base de datos de focalizados, cruzar bases de datos e identificar duplicados por cedula y por código único, apoyar en el proceso de aplicación de encuestas de elegibilidad, organizar listados de beneficiarios para preparación de enrolamientos, convocar a los beneficiarios para las jornadas de enrolamiento, apoyar las jornadas de enrolamiento desde lo logístico hasta la implementación, realizar seguimiento a los hogares que no han ejercido el cobro, apoyar en la gestión documental y el cargue de los soportes justificativos y de los indicadores, apoyar jornadas en terreno de focalización puerta a puerta y jornadas de mensajes claves de nutrición, alimentación saludable, economía familiar y lactancia materna, utilizando las metodologías definidas y con el nível de calidad requerido.
- Participar de manera activa en las evaluaciones sobre el terreno (identificación de las necesidades, planificación, ejecución y seguimiento) para adaptar las intervenciones de seguridad alimentaria y medios de vida a las necesidades.
- Apoyar los procesos de identificación y focalización de beneficiarios y garantizar que las actividades del proyecto se orienten a los beneficiarios más necesitados y la integración de los enfoques de género y protección.
- Recopilar datos y fuentes de verificación y apoyar los sistemas de monitoreo y evaluación.
- Mantener y fomentar las relaciones entre NRC y las comunidades locales en la realización de los objetivos de los proyectos.
- Mantener y fomentar la coordinación y las líneas de comunicación e intercambio de información adecuadas con los socios y las partes interesadas sobre el terreno para evitar la duplicación y maximizar las sinergias.
- Aportar actualizaciones, insumos y comentarios relevantes al líder de equipo de Medios de Vida y Seguridad Alimentaria necesarios para el seguimiento y mejora de los proyectos de medios de vida.
- Apoyar la elaboración de contenidos e implementar/coordinar las formaciones a la población beneficiaria en el ámbito de las actividades de los proyectos de Medios de Vida y Seguridad Alimentaria (desarrollo de unidades productivas, acompañamiento a las unidades productivas capitalizadas, desarrollar las herramientas para las formaciones empresariales, etc.).
- Apoyar la aplicación de los mecanismos establecidos para la participación comunitaria y la rendición de cuentas.
