Senior Accountant

DPV Transportation

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Work with external auditors to complete annual audits.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactions.
- Assist with tax planning and preparation.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience using USGAAP.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Salary**:
$5mil COP - $7Mil COP
