**Company Overview**: At Rent Ready, we are a leading platform that provides turn services for multifamily communities. Our mission is to streamline the process of property turnover and maintenance by connecting property managers with skilled contractors, including painters, cleaners, handymen, and more. As we continue to expand our network of contractors, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote Vendor Recruiter fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team.
**Position Overview**: As a Vendor Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, recruiting, negotiating prices, and onboarding contractors onto Rent Ready's platform. Your expertise in English and Spanish will be essential in communicating effectively with contractors from diverse backgrounds. Reporting directly to the Recruiting Manager, you will help grow our contractor base, ensuring we have a reliable and skilled workforce to meet the demands of multifamily communities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify potential contractors (painters, cleaners, handymen, etc.) with relevant expertise and experience to join Rent Ready's platform.
- Source and engage with potential vendors through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and industry-specific networks.
- Conduct interviews and screening processes to assess the qualifications and capabilities of potential contractors.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to ensure competitive rates and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to establish and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, providing clear communication and support throughout the onboarding process.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and performance evaluations to ensure contractors meet Rent Ready's quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of vendor information and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and progress to the Recruiting Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in
the construction, property management, or related industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with contractors of diverse backgrounds.
- High sense of urgency and organization.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- A passion for connecting with people and building a reliable and skilled contractor network.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable internet service and a computer.
- Able to work remotely 8:00am-5:00pm est. Rent Ready is based in Charlotte, NC - United States.
- This is a contract position paid through Deel.
