**Overview**:
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software to meet business and customer needs. Software engineers work on development initiatives that include developing features and capabilities for end users, either external customers or internal employees, developing platforms such as data engineering, developer tooling, or machine learning, and configuring and customizing vendor-provided packaged software.

**Position Title: Senior Quality Assurance**

**Location: Remote**

**What you will be doing**:

- Plan and implement testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality.
- Work closely with development teams to design testing strategies and integrate testing into the development process.
- Plan, create, execute, and automate test cases, working with business partners, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
- Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defects and test case databases, and verify fixes.
- Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users.
- Conduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex features, e.g., those that span across platforms or teams.
- Identify opportunities to reduce testing time and effort by automating repeatable tests.
- Enhance and maintain the test automation framework.
- Research, recommend, and implement new testing technologies and practices, such as incorporating machine learning.
- Define and champion quality and testing best practices among development teams.
- Perform in an Agile culture of testing, testing often and early by working in a closely integrated fashion with software developers while continuously improving our testing processes and scripts.
- Assist with the implementation of automated test script development and execution especially for regression testing.
- Assist with training or create “How to documentation” from a system perspective to support our Trainers as needed.
- Validate existing functionality, bug fixes, and new features for company software releases, as well as validate data and perform analysis to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate testing with end users and developers to help diagnose and recreate problems.
- Help prioritize based on urgency and impact for quick resolution.
- Work according to our sprint cycles/ project schedule and ensure adherence to standard SDLC practices and procedures.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applied experience.
- 3+ years of quality assurance testing experience.
- Background in supply chain, transportation, and logistics preferred
- Software development experience. Proficiency in.NET, javascript, C#
- Experience writing test automation scripts.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience designing and implementing test plans.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, XRay, Qtest, Quality Center, LoadRunner, SmartBear).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, Playwright).
- Ability to reason through complex requirements and create applicable test scenarios
- Knowledge of browser plugins/developer tools to assist in web app testing (view HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects.
- Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g., Jira).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration skills and ability to work on a team.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
