Sr. DevOps Engineer

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, who will work with a team of developers and engineers building infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. **Responsibilities**:

- Combine sysadmin and development skills to automate IT infrastructure and operations
- Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning
- Focus on IT infrastructure to optimize existing systems and eliminating work through automation that defines clear processes for a given operation/business solution
- Sustain scalable and highly reliable software systems for infrastructure and operations
- Partner with development teams to bring speed and efficiency of deployment of new platform systems

Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of DevOps, systems administration and/or development background
- 1+ years of experience in building and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience designing and building enterprise cloud solutions in GCP, AWS and/or Azure; GCP preferred
- Coding experience with one or more high level languages like Java, Rust, Python, Go, JavaScript or C
- Scripting experience with Bash and/or PowerShell
- Linux and/or Windows system administration experience
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet and Chef
- Experience with automated deployment and CI/CD with Jenkins or similar tools
- Good experience with container management systems including Docker & Kubernetes
- Good understanding of reliability, scalability and cyber security principles and best practices
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
- Log aggregation experience with tools like DataDog, Grafana and Nagios
- Good understanding of virtualization systems like VMWare, VirtualBox and Vagrant
- Good understanding of storage systems
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
- Good Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills
- Cloud certifications and/or cloud native infrastructure experience
- Experience with technologies like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Experience with networking, storage, and release management
- Linux foundation certifications
