**Required Skills**:

- 4+ years of Oracle DBA or equivalent experience on administrating and managing Oracle 11g - 19c Database versions on Linux/AIX/ Solaris/Windows systems
- Experience with Oracle 19c upgrades with near zero downtime for multi TB mission critical systems.
- Experience with migrating critical database environments from one platform to another
- Strong experience with Oracle Standby/Dataguard and Active Dataguard
- Strong knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in ASM & RAC database servers.
- Strong experience in PSU/CPU patching process.
- Strong experience in RMAN, backup and recovery methodologies.
- Strong experience in Database refreshes/ cloning.
- Strong experience in OEM - 11g/12c/13c
- Working experience on multitenant database maintenances.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix technical scripting and utilities
- Expertise in handling, configuration, and administration of the Oracle databases.
- Expertise in Oracle DataPump Utility for Logical backup and Database migration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong Decision-making skills

**Desired Skills**:

- Working knowledge on EC2/RDS instances.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Transparent Data Encryption
- Hands on experience on OEM11g/12c/13c
- Working knowledge of Oracle Goldengate
- Strong experience in database and system level tuning and ability to review all Oracle and system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)
- Good Documentation skills.
- Good understanding of escalation handling and the customer support process.
- AWS/OCP/OCE/OCI certified DBAs are preferred.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Database Management: Install/Create database, Database Administration, Database Refresh, Database backups/recovery and Database Migration.
- Engineering and administration of Oracle standalone and RAC database environments
- Daily backup and recovery services and data pump for customer production databases.
- Oracle DBA support for company mission-critical OLTP database including production database backup restore/refresh, troubleshooting, run time event investigation.
- Setup and configuration of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Data guard Configuration, Switchover DR activity support.
- Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning, table re-organization and redefinition.
- Performing Active/Hot/Cold backup Clone from production to staging, move production databases from one server to another.
- Supporting and documenting the implementation of approved changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing schedule
- Implementing releases/changes to databases via proper Change Management methodology
- Performing database and system tuning using the utilities and reports like AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQLT, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL tracing and analysis, database event tracing etc.
- Responsible for keeping management up to date on any outstanding issues.
- Support: Provide Technical support, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PROD/DEV environments.
- Unix Scripting: Script writing/Understanding and enhancement in existing scripts
