As a **Documentation Specialist**, you will analyze, interpret data, and provide logistics information to aid cost-effective, efficient, timely, and high-quality logistics solutions.

**Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**:
**Documentation Management**:

- Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and customs documentation.
- Create batch records and maintain accurate and organized records of all documentation.

**Coordination and Communication**:

- Liaise with clients and carriers, to ensure smooth and efficient cargo movement.
- Coordinate with the operation team to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Provide updates and respond to inquiries from clients regarding documentation status.

**Coordinating Shipments**:Ensuring the timely shipment of goods between countries, whether by air, sea, rail, or road.

**Route Optimization**: Selecting the most efficient transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues with documentation.
- Work proactively to prevent and address documentation-related problems that may arise during the shipping process.

**Requirements**:

**Minimum requirements**:

- **Studies**:High school degree is required. Desirable (not mandatory) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics related.
- **Experience**:At least 6+ months working in freight forwarding, customs, import/export, international logistics or related. Having experience in other logistic areas would be a plus.
- **Knowledge**:Hands-on experience with CargoWise, and proficiency in both export and import documentation. Familiarity with Hazardous Materials documentation for transport is highly desirable.
- **Language**:Excellent English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

**Perks**:

- **Schedule**:Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., following the American Calendar.
- **Contract**: Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
- **Location**: Only for Medellín. This position will be on-site at WeWork Santa Fe.
- **Salary**: $ 4'000.000 COP
