QA Automation Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with our development team to develop and refine scripted tests using automation tools, ensuring accurate and efficient validation of software functionality.
- Lead the development and implementation of automated testing strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to gain a comprehensive understanding of software requirements and effectively address them.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using C# and related tools such as SpecFlow, Playwrite, Rest #, and Azure DevOps.
- Drive the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes to optimize software delivery and streamline release cycles.
- Oversee the identification, analysis, and resolution of software defects, ensuring detailed bug reports and close collaboration with development teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance and automated testing, providing strategic guidance to the team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the team, encouraging continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning in test automation practices.

**Requirements**:

- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate within our organization and with our stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in software-automated testing, with a primary focus on test automation.
- Extensive expertise in using C# for automated testing.
- Demonstrated work experience with software automation test products similar to or including SpecFlow, Playwrite, Rest #, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for efficient and automated software delivery.
- A solid understanding of nUnit/xUnit frameworks for automated testing.
- Familiarity with Selenium for web-based test automation is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality software products through effective automated testing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

Additionally, the following is required:

- Effective English communication skills to lead and collaborate with an English-speaking team.
- Willingness to actively participate in daily Zoom or Teams meetings, utilizing webcams for enhanced communication.

Compensation Range: COP 176M - COP 224M
