We are looking for a Firmware QA Tester to join our team in Colombia and work on an innovative project in the pet tech industry.

Who are we looking for?

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst, preferably in testing consumer electronics or IoT devices.
- Understanding of hardware and software interactions in IoT devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems and testing methodologies.

**NICE TO HAVE**:

- Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct comprehensive firmware testing for functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for firmware components.
- Identify and report software defects, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
- Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes and feature implementations.
- Collaborate with firmware developers to understand product requirements.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
- Conduct performance testing to assess scalability and responsiveness, addressing bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases and testing reports.
- Capability in end-to-end testing of IoT ecosystems, including devices, gateways, and cloud services, and testing integration with various platforms and mobile apps.
