Our client is a leading processor of residential and architectural glass in Australia and remain 100% Australian owned and operated.

**The Opportunity**

The Lisec Technician is responsible for managing Lisec project installations, commissioning, servicing and effectively troubleshooting and correcting any mechanical, electrical, or control issues with our Lisec machinery.

This role works to ensure that machinery, plant and equipment are safe, working efficiently and able to carry out their purpose for operations, including identifying and eliminating root causes of operational failures, conducting root cause failure analysis and monitoring equipment trends.

**Responsibilities**

Manage and coordinate Lisec project installations including commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting.

Manage and assist with the preventative and corrective maintenance on manual and automated systems.

Develop and implement effective Lisec equipment reliability strategies with key stakeholders.

Work towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating processes and support.

Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment down time.

Contribute and assist in upcoming improvement projects.

Improve the ongoing reliability and performance of Lisec equipment.

Significant (3 years +) experience with Lisec and other glass processing equipment

Degree or Diploma qualification in Engineering - Mechanical, Electronics, Automation or Mechatronics

Experience in Lisec Project installations/commissioning/Servicing and Troubleshooting

Experience with IT / Networking would be highly regarded, but not essential.

Exceptional planning and execution skills

Root Cause Analysis skills

High level of written and verbal communication skills

High level of attention to detail

Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.

Practical hands-on approach to problem solving.

Our client will also consider include automation engineers or technicians who have extensive experience with glass processing machines.

Salary is based on experience up to 130,000 Australian per year plus an additional 11% of the base salary towards superannuation.

All costs will be covered by the employer, including flight, temporary accommodation, 482 visa, and relocation costs.
