Demand Writer

RedValley, the coolest and fastest-growing company in Medellín, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury _**Demand Writer **_to join our team. As a Demand Writer in our Personal Injury Pre-litigation department, you will be responsible for preparing demand letters for cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic injuries. Your primary tasks will involve drafting well-written demand letters that effectively communicate the facts of the case and outline the injuries and damages sustained by the client. Additionally, you will calculate damages, including lost wages, property damage, and medical expenses. Your contribution to the team will be crucial as you bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our office.

**What You´ll Do**
- Enters and confirms medical bills related to accident in client relationship management system (CRM)
- Changes status of case files in CRM as appropriate
- Communicates with attorneys regarding demand package review and revision
- Creates medical benefit pay demand packages and sends them to medpay adjusters
- Follows-up with adjusters to confirm receipt of demand package
- Reviews medical records at attorney request (for cases not in need of demands)
- Creates medical chronologies for litigation cases as needed
- Assists with mass torts department medical records review

**What You'll Bring To The Team**
- Experience working with personal injury
- Proficient in reviewing and organizing medical records and bills.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in handling a large volume of personal injury cases and a proven track record of drafting successful demand letters.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Plus: Degree as a lawyer

**Salary**: $300,000 - $3,500,000 per month
