Drawing on more than a century of experience in crop nutrition, Yara established the Digital Innovation division to explore how technology can improve farmer´s lives and productivity.
The Director Digital Innovation will be responsible for being the leading interface between the Digital Innovation Americas and the Latin America Business Unit. This role will work closely with the Business Unit to identify, size and prioritize business opportunities creating concrete problem statements and translate them into concrete deliverables that the Digital Innovation Solutions Delivery team execute on. The role will be accountable for the Digital Innovation activities and initiatives within the respective Business Unit.
This role requires a strong leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who can effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive digital innovation and achieve results, while embodying our company's values of ambition, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.
**Descrição da posição | Responsabilidades**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Digital Innovation Solutions Delivery team and the Latin America Business Unit, collaborating closely with the Business Unit and other key global and regional/local stakeholders to identify and prioritize digital innovation opportunities.
- Create problem statements that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound and that provide clear direction to the Digital Innovation Solutions Delivery team. Collaborate with the Digital Innovation Solutions Delivery team to assess the feasibility of pro-posed solutions and provide feedback on their alignment with the needs of the Latin America Business Unit.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the Latin America Business Unit, promoting experimentation and learning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies and assess their potential impact on the Latin America Business Unit.
- Work closely with other stakeholders in the Latin America Business Unit to ensure alignment and buy-in for digital innovation initiatives. Serve as an ambassador for the Digital Innovation within the Latin America Business Unit, other internal and also specifically external stakeholders promoting our capabilities and successes.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on digital innovation initiatives and their impact on the Latin America Business Unit.
**Perfil | Formação e conhecimentos**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) re-quired; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a leadership role delivering digital solutions and products in a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and prioritize opportu-nities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain rela-tionships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in innovation management and/or business development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action and a willingness to take calculated risks.
- Passion for driving change and innovation to support a nature-positive food future.
- Embodies our company's values of ambition, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.
